Saturday, December 26, 2015 - Burgundy color with a wonderful bouquet and flavor of raspberries, dark cherries, and vanilla, as well as allspice. Very silky on the palate with a seamless elegance. Excellent definition and nuance with a long finish. The Marcassin Three Sisters wine, drunk on Christmas day, was just as glorious, but grainier and perhaps riper. Each of these wines was grand in its own way, and left the great Burgundies drunk along with them far behind.
