Saturday, August 17, 2013 - Greg brought this out to Kan Zaman with Johnny, Dana and myself.
Ghost Horse's "affordable" bottling at a mere c-note...compared to the thousands the other four request.
Elegant. Gorgeous royal dark ruby red color.
The aromas were extremely cult Cali Cab-esque. Dark cassis, leather, fresh dirt road and some light menthol touches.
The palate is balanced and shows more leather driven dark cherries, a little pencil shavings and a long finish that is medium full bodied, shows nice tannins that are integrating well and great acid.
Killer wine. Hard to stand up to the SQN tasted side by side.
