Thursday, December 25, 2014 - We had this wine for Christmas dinner for the wedding of Pierre Grangeon and Jelene Milojevic in Thonen, France, with relatives and friends. It was a pale yellow with full slow legs. The nose was nutty and sherry like. It was full bodied with a very dry front palate with more nuts and near bitter like a dry sherry. The French influence was evident with oak, and a little earth. it had good acidity and a medium finish. It paired perfectly with fig bread and duck foie gras.
