Monday, August 8, 2005 - First nose of chocolate and in particular licorice, which is also very present on the palate. The wine is delicate, with a mouthfeel like lace. Balance is good, nice acidity and integrated tannins. Delicious. With more time the power comes, stronger and stronger until the wine almost seems rough. This push makes it fall apart a little bit. The nose shows more and more animalistic notes, the palate becomes a bit brutal.
