Tuesday, March 24, 2009 - Color: Light bricking w orange rim. Nose: dried leaves, dried strawberries/cherry, leather, anise. Palate: dried red fruits, med acidity, slightly green. Strawberry jam. Long finish.

This was an excellent specimen. I feel privileged to have been able to taste these magnificent old riojas.
