Saturday, January 18, 2014 - Opened about 3h before dinner (did not dare to decant as some notes below were suggesting) and took a sip every once in a while. Straw yellow. Slight oxidized note during the first 90 min or so after opening, later the note largely disappears behind the beautiful fruit. Takes a good 2-3h in the open bottle to show its best. A very finely textured palate with pineapple, abricott, some sulphur, initially also nuts, later more dominated by sweet, but well delineated fruit notes. Good acidity and moderate alc (13%) keeps it fresh. Long finish. Excellent.
