Saturday, November 24, 2012 - 95 points with room to grow. Big for a Comtes, with a rich open nose of citrus, apples, and vanilla oak, medium to full bodied on the palate with large bubbles that toned down with time. Rich on the palate, long finish, classic acidity and zip. Can't get over how big this is. All the structure is there for long term aging, and this is more approachable than the '96s. I'd say similar to the '95 but fruitier.
