Tuesday, December 6, 2011 - Perfect fill and cork. Decanted one hour and drunk over 1 hour. Surprisingly dense and dark. Looked much younger. Had this wine many times and it always benefits from 4 hours decanting, especially if it is in perfect condition. The empty decanter smelled fantastic next morning. It has an amazing density and thickness to it, especially for a wine with such low alcohol. It improved over the time we drunk it but would undoubtedly have been even better with longer decanting.
