Friday, December 21, 2012 - Wow. What an excellent wine. Drank over 5 hours. Did not decant. The nose of violets and blue fruit jumped from the bottle as soon as we pulled the cork. The fill was well into the neck. This was flamboyant, sexy, elegant yet powerful with wonderful floral notes, red and blue fruit, a bit of spice and a great underlying structure. It was pretty and delicate with great sweet fruit. Wonderfully long texture that leaves sweet fruit at the end. Love this Chateau and I've never had a better example of this wine.
