Friday, September 20, 2013 - HDH '90 vs '00 BDX Comparative Tasting (Chicago, IL - Spiaggia): Second time with this wine and it did not disappoint. Certainly held it's own with Cheval Blanc, with a little pepper mixed in the cab franc dominated nose. Potentially a little less complex than the Cheval Blanc, but the fruit was a little fresher without the pruney/potentially over-ripe notes. Fantastic wine. A/A+
