Tuesday, October 7, 2014 - I confess that I p'n'p-ed this one after swilling the '09 Turnbull, but oddly enough the youth of this wine became more evident as it approached room temp and took air. This was good, but still too young. (Remind self to read notes before fetching the wine.) With luck, I've buried the last two bottles far enough down in the boxes to keep me from rushing things again. I'll happily take an invite to taste nocoretiree's last bottle next year in exchange for sharing one of mine in another 3-6 years. This wine has great things ahead of it, and it's improving just as a classic Cab should. No rush to drink it, and I'll gladly cellar a few other vintages whenever I get the chance.
