Wednesday, May 16, 2012 - This is flat out amazing! Also, man I just think you cannot do much better than Chevillon in ripe/big years. The wine leans barely to the purple side in color, but still has the Cailles red traits that I so love where it counts, albeit dialed down a little. The best part of this wine is the mouthfeel and the delicious swallow. I know, the wine is only three and shows its young age, but if you have a few of these give one a whirl. Reminds me some of the Kutch McDougal Ranch 2009... go figure.
