Saturday, July 6, 2013 - Paper filtered and decanted leaving a light, fine sediment in the filter and yielding a deep ruby liquor with perfumed fruit aromas. This was a very young, fruity wine to our palates - but, it was so layered and complex that the flavors just kept building on the tongue and lasting - finishing for almost 5 minutes or more. Ripe red berries, cherries, everything fruity and fresh is what this began as. And, we drank it so quickly, it never got a chance to evolve.
