Saturday, December 29, 2007 - After staring at this bottle on the rack for a few months, I decided I couldn't wait to put the poor bottle out of its misery so I took it over to a Holiday Open House at my wife's co-worker's home. OK, the wine is finally doing what it was probably meant to do all along. It's finally in balance -- nice acid, but in balance with the rest of the wine. Delicious layers of pear, lemon and lime with a great minerality (limestone) that has never shown its face before for me. Nice finish too. If only I had waited to drink all of these bottles until now. <sigh> 90 pts.
