Friday, May 25, 2012 - Displays a very nice brick-like color. Giving off powerful aromas of cherry, blackberry, plum, toasted coconut, vanilla, leather and tobacco. The texture is nice here, built around fine grained yet soft tannins. Everything seemed to be working pretty well together until the finish, which was cut short. This is an interesting wine from an excellent vintage and worth a shot. (Drink 2012-2021) - May, 2012. (JD)
