Sunday, September 30, 2012 - Dark red with some bricking. Menthol, dark fruit, and oak on the nose (maybe Sandalwood?). Dried cherries, slight blackcurrant, dirt, vanilla and pepper on the palate. Slight bit of soft tannin. Great balance. None of the components overpowering the other. Good acidity. Lengthy finish. Sophisticated old-world flavor.
