Sunday, April 7, 2013 - A quick double decant just before taking to dinner which was a good idea. My wine buddy Brad, who has a great palate, immediately declared this oaky??? Not sure I agree. For me it displayed lovely cherry flavors combined with tobacco and minerality. I thought the oak was well integrated and provided a richness to the palate but not in an over the top modern way. All in all, not a rock star, but a pretty nice btl.
