Tuesday, April 30, 2013 - What an absolutely lovely wine. As soon as it is opened, the wine's bouquet bursts with lilacs, raspberries, cedar and tobacco. The color is a wonderful brick red which shows some age yet this wine remains incredibly fresh and fruit forward. The tannins are definitely alive and well as the wine lingers effortlessly in your mouth before giving way to red currant, tart cherry and bay leaf. This is so well made and highlights the true beauty of aged Rioja. Gracias!
