Sunday, October 20, 2013 - I enjoyed this a lot more than a bottle from last year. Medium bodied, ruby red color with extra electricity. High acidity and american oak combine to produce a delicious dill pickle essence that behaves nicely alongside the cherry and red berry fruit. I can see this wine being very polarizing...reminds me a lot of the 2008 Pegau in that way. Treads a very fine line between delicious and overtly flawed, but this juice stays on the right side of the line. Begs for food and highly versatile with pairings.

Discussions? That's funny and even some NOW are understanding what they have in the cellar... Well done!
I think you've caught the essential at first sniff. Nothing great but a very good bottle.
Cheers!
