Friday, December 20, 2013 - This wine continues to please. I love the purity here, and the sheer drinkability. The nose is terrific and enticing from when the cork is first pulled. This may be my QPR champion of 2013.

    12/21/2013 7:07:00 AM - I am so with you. You either "get" Maume, or you don't. Bertrand Maume is one of, if not my very favorite winemaker. It will be interesting to see where the wines go with Pascal Marchand "directing" Bertrand at the domaine--anxious abt this a bit. These wines are constantly changing. I've drunk prob 4 cases. Certian bottles from 09 show a distinct hot bourbon aroma upon opening but then often level out. Others show cooler character and all fruity brown sugar.
