Monday, February 2, 2015 - ran it up against a 2000 sassicaia and i think this was favored by the whole group. the nuance and aging on this bottle is just perfect right now and i suspect it will hold in this excellent state for the better part of a decade.

we gave it only a two hour decant and it was very expressive. tons of fruit still there with all sorts of intriguing lean vegetal things peeking through.

really everything you would hope a napa cab would become.
