Saturday, December 17, 2011 - The wine is the most Bordeaux-like Amereican wine I have ever tasted and is a beautiful wine with many years left. Dark and deeply textured, with a nose of tobacco and pencil lead with some floral element, violets maybe. Beautifully integrated with black fruit, a little black cherry, flavors. Lingering finish with fine tannins. Early development of tertiary flavors.
