Behind the earthy notes on the nose and palette, there's a concentration that was wanting to break out over the course of the 3 hour meal. It never quite got there, but reminded me of a number of Cali BDX blends that I've drunk 2-3 years prematurely. Let this one sit until 2016 and I think you'll be blessed with more complexity and further developed flavors. Fun to drink and superb with a lamb dinner, but wish I would've waited.
