Monday, October 24, 2011 - Sun baked earth, coffee and a lot of oak on the nose. Very new world and dark fruit. Still lots of primary tannins on the palate, but enough sweet dark mocha fruit to push through them and acid on the finish to balance it out. Still could use some more bottle age or a decant.
