Sunday, November 25, 2012 - Found a bottle of this in the wrong corner of the cellar, thought it previously consumed! So while unexpectedly aged, this showed well. Served with a butternut squash, quinoa and mushroom dish. There was a tough of maple in the dish and the more firm cinsault did well against that. Nice acidity to the wine, lighter salmon color. An engaging rose. Likely better earlier as the fruit definitely wanted to lead here.
