90 Points

Wednesday, May 13, 2015 - Patience may or may not be it's own reward but it sure helped this wine out. It's been two years since my other tasting and 9 months since anyone has noted here, but this wine has really come around.
Still quite a cloudy cranberry red, about 60% opaque. Profound nose of crushed berry and autumn leaf, roses, mushroom, damp earth funk, and strawberry. It just kept building and developing over the 3 hours of tasting. The palate has emerged with cohesion and harmony compared to how it was two years ago. Regarding the slight green medicinal note, I find it adds some interest as opposed to distraction at this stage. Maybe the most interesting wine I've tried this year. Those of you that have waited, I hope you enjoy as much as I did today. 3+13+17+7 = 90
