Friday, July 24, 2015 - Popped and poured. Big nose of ripe, dark berry fruit, cassis, charred, spicy oak and a touch of chocolate. Similar flavors on the palate with a very rich mouthfeel and layers of dark fruit with toasted oak and bitter dark chocolate. Good acidity and tannins were in balance. Long finish. Really delicious and well made cab but at the higher end of the price range for wines that deliver similar results.
