Thursday, September 20, 2012 - A Fantastic Brut Rose. Beautiful color with nice tight bubbles in the glass. The nose on this right after pouring is delectable and inviting with sweet cherries, strawberries, and floral aromas. The mouthfeel is completely different, as the sweetness of the nose is luckily not in the glass, and this ripe, bold brut hits you in the mouth. This is certainly not a soft Brut Rose. The finish brings back the cherries and red fruit and even a bit of yeastiness, and it softens up after you let it sit for a bit.
