Very ripe berries, plum, and spices leap from the glass. These flavors are partnered with tart cherry, wonderful texture, and surprisingly gripping tannins. A little more time? Wine was tasted after a 30 minute decant. As usual, very fine cloudy sediment left in the bottle after decant. There was also a fair amount of chunks in there as well. I'll let my brother-in-law have the last glass from the bottle....
