Saturday, July 21, 2012 - Another Saturday at Knightsbridge - mostly blind (Northbrook, IL): Tasted double blind. Lush, sweet red and black fruit on nose and palate. This didn't show much floral character so I didn't think from Volnay. It also had great energy and textures, making me think this more likely 2010 than 2009. Oops. This is a huge Volnay with the stuffing and raw materials to age beautifully as some of that baby fat softens.
