Friday, February 10, 2012 - Knightsbridge Annual Wildman Burgundy Dinner (Peninsula Hotel - Chicago IL): Charming black fruit with meaty spice that is surprisingly approachable for a just-released Corton. Fruit on the palate is a bit more backward than the wine's aromas, also showing good power and density. Very "2009" in how accessible this is already, with sneaky power and structure that will enable its longevity.
