Friday, December 28, 2012 - Ripe, but not at all overripe. This has a really nice freshness for 2009 and it's really well balanced also. Smooth texture. Rich and deep for a villages and a true Gevrey in its aromatic profile. A long aftertaste. Great still on the second day, but didn't quite make it to the third.
