Tuesday, May 26, 2015 - Slow O'd for 2-3 hours and enjoyed over the following 2 hours. I think the best time was after 2 hours of slow O though. That was when the complexity described in Parker's note showed with notes of lead pencil shavings, BBQ smoke and dark berries. This wine had such a cool combo of lush mouth-feel and big tannin.
Later in the evening, the complexity faded to and the wine showed notes of licorice and dark berry liqueur.
