Sunday, February 3, 2013 - Deep dark purple color. Nose and palate of ripe blackberry and brush. A little white pepper notes combined with campfire. I decanted for 4 hours which helped soften the tannins. Medium plus finish. Nicely balanced. Did not get any bacon fat with this bottle.
