Friday, September 6, 2013 - Good nose, floral and forward. Smooth and sweet on entry. Notes of plum, wood, raspberry, and dark cherry. No noticeable tannins throughout, forward, open and ready for consumption. Not as balance/pretty as 09' Bertheau Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru but shows better length and structure initially. However, the wine does change one hour after uncorked, acidity seems to surge and not as balance. Guess Clive Coates is correct in saying " Very promising at first but then it collapsed in the glass. To be reviewed.." I prefer the cheaper 09' Bertheau Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru. Keep one glass in the bottle after the lunch to follow up, slightly acidic the following day, not very good balance, rather disappointing. Probably for early consumption. Buy more? No! 90-93 pts.
