The palate is bright, but intense; the whole-cluster fermentation really shows, lending a very firm structure. Great material, and this really begs for more time. A stark contrast to the 2009 Evesham Wood Puits Sec opened this same night, which was very much red-fruit driven and wrapped in a lighter package.
