Wednesday, January 18, 2012 - Light garnet colour. Expressive nose of red fruit (cranberry, red current maybe some raspberry), maybe breadfruit with some funky stemmy notes and a slight floral note. Initially quite tight on the palate but over time opened up with some tasty dark cherry, cranberry and minerals flavours. Great acidity and smooth tannins. This wine just kept improving in glass and I'm looking forward to opening the next bottle in another 5+ years as I expect it to just keep improving.
