The nose was pretty light, nothing special at all. Nice fruit but again, just a bit thin, and not as long on the finish to earn it's rep. We had a number of better California Pinot's at half the price on the nights before. The wine woke up a lot with food but overall not enough to be impressive given the price tag. It's a village wine I think.
