The smells are sweet dark cherries, peppery and sweet tar notes, sassafras, floral notes, rhubarb, and raspberry pie. The tastes are cherry cola, sweet spices, brown sugar and cinnamon, strawberry, anise, olive, and damp earthy leaves. The tannins are sheer and fine and the finish is lengthy, fruity and refreshing thanks to the acidity. In a word, delicious.
