Friday, March 25, 2011 - Yikes! I know these need some time to settle down, and opening this the night after arriving here probably wasn't the best idea, but I like to try these young. At the pop, it was like a grape martini, but after about 3 hours in the decanter it settled nicely into a rich and balanced wine. Great depth of red and blue fruit and all spice. Going to hide tthese away for the next few years, but a fun look at whats to come.
