Wednesday, May 20, 2015 - Opened about 90 minutes before drinking. Beautiful garnet color that sings in the glass. The first thing that hits you is the nose; expressive aromatics with ripe black cherry, light floral (rose petal?) and clove. A nicely integrated, full-bodied Pinot with complex fruit comprised of cherry cola, raspberry, wild strawberry, brown sugar, spice and a hint of earth. The end just keeps on, lingering for 30 seconds with a cherry note finish. I really liked this wine better than the first bottle.
