Saturday, January 31, 2015 - An old bottle (with a low fill) -you could see by the way the bottle leaned to one side that it was made in a different era. The cork was shriveled and only the capsule was keeping the ambient world out. The wine? It was well past it, but the bouquet was lovely and redolent of great, old earth. The brown-tinted liquid seemed like it might make a nice vinaigrette. Not expecting much from an old bottle from this year (and not getting much more than smells).
