Saturday, November 29, 2014 - No premox, but no "wow" moment, either. Rich, deep golden color. Definite petrol odor, as noted below, detected on decanting. Let sit for 30 minutes before pouring, and petrol odor was mostly gone. Very muted nose-- nothing explosive about it, even after sitting in the glass another hour. Rich texture. An enjoyable Chardonnay with some age on it. Tasty, but just nothing special.
