88 Points

Thursday, October 5, 2006 - Apples and melons on the nose. Very slight residual sugar onthe front palate, followed by melons and some peaches. This has a fairly round, lush body, but a decent amount of acidity to keep it from getting flabby. There's also a slight steely minerality to this wine. It's in a completely different style then the PG. using paradoxal wine descripters, its soft with some edges. It doesn't knock you oer in the begining lie some other wines in this price point, but has some staying power. A lot more to this then I would expect for the price point, and a winery that sources all there grapes from different areas. But their blending team is doing something right, because the A to Z wines have been fairly impressive. 87-90 points, depending on your perspectivw.
