Friday, April 6, 2012 - 2nd of 4 purchased from Invino for $17.50 including shipping. First had a crumbly cork and musty note that mildly overshadowed a wine with many other nice components. This 2nd bottle had a perfect cork that came out nicely. That gave me hope.
Popped and poured, a great nose of florals, menthol, strawberry/cherry. Similar notes of menthol, strawberry, cherry, cranberrry, minerals/stone. Nice acidity for its age. This was a joy to drink. All the Geyserville components that I recall from the 2006 and 2009, just mature and integrated. Bravo!
