Saturday, May 9, 2015 - Color: ruby / brick. Nose: earthy / loam, autumn leaves, and just a hint of sweetness. Mouth: surprisingly rich and mouth-filling, excellent length; soft tannins that are softly assertive ; very nice acidity. Showing its maturity but I don't think it has quite peaked yet.

Have had this wine yearly since its initial release [honeymooned at Monsanto that year, we drink on our anniversary] and this is the wine's best showing yet.
