Monday, April 1, 2013 - From 375 ml. Pale straw color. Nose is redolent of flowers, honeydew melon and ripe lemons, with a pungently sweet note of acetone or gasoline. Palate is a four way mix between sweet, tart, buttery and grassy flavors, with an aftertaste of stone. The cork showed some modest seepage and had a few spots of mold on the top. This isn't oxidized more than a faint whiff, though, with an impression of this being a bit more mature than its 3+ years. Given some decent acidity here, this wine should continue to improve for another 3-5 years at a minimum.
