Monday, February 3, 2014 - The wine was purple opaque in color. Dense in every sense of the word. Reminded me more of dessert of blackberry cobbler - overwhelming my taste buds and finding frankly hard to pair with anything. I little lighter touch was in order. Tannins were well integrated but it was showing much more thank 14.5 % alcohol. Day 2 muted fruit and tannins were showy.
