Saturday, June 7, 2014 - Deep, bright aromas, very complete. Loaded with dried figs, dates, plums, orange peel, walnut shell, and lots of spices. Smooth, round, and silky, bordering on glyceriny, showing good depth of flavor, a nutty richness, fine length, and none of the alcoholic heat you get with some tawnies. Has an appealing tea-like tension and mulling spices on the mineral finish. Just lovely.
