Friday, June 12, 2015 - Lab dinner at Rooney's: This was a smooth, flavorful bottle of Syrah. Bordering on flabby, but with rich fruit and a tinge of gamy character. Decent balance. Not a style of wine I particularly love, but clearly well made and was enjoyed quite a bit by many at the table.
